## Career Opportunity: Electrical Technician
PT Pertamina Training & Consulting (PTC) is currently seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technician to join our team in Balikpapan. This role is pivotal for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our electrical infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following technical tasks:
* Performing commissioning, start-up, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems within refinery environments.
* Conducting rigorous health checks on motors, panels, MCC units, switchgear, transformers, cabling, lighting, and grounding systems.
* Executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities based on established work orders and maintenance plans.
* Performing rapid, accurate, and safe electrical troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
* Identifying equipment abnormalities and providing expert recommendations to supervisors.
* Interpreting Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring schematics, and technical documentation.
* Ensuring all tasks strictly follow SOPs, Permit to Work systems, JSA/JHA, and HSSE regulations.
* Maintaining accurate documentation of work logs, maintenance findings, and equipment status.
Candidate Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Must be an Indonesian Citizen.
2. Minimum educational background: SMA/SMK.
3. Possess at least 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical equipment maintenance.
4. Proficiency in coupling and uncoupling electrical motors and gearboxes.
5. Skilled in using specialized electrical measurement tools.
6. Strong analytical ability in reading and explaining electrical drawings and Single Line Diagrams.
7. Comprehensive knowledge of fundamental electrical equipment operations.
8. Residing in Balikpapan or surrounding areas.
9. Willingness to work as a Tenaga Alih Daya (TAD).
