## Role Overview: Safety Officer (Geothermal)
PT Truelogs Logistik Asia is currently seeking a committed and experienced Safety Officer. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all field activities comply with the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental protection during geothermal operations.
## Key Responsibilities
The appointed Safety Officer will oversee daily safety operations on-site, mitigating risks and enforcing strict HSE protocols. Key duties include:
* Risk Assessment & Documentation: Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Task Risk Assessment (TRA), and Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control (HIRADC) documents prior to work commencement.
* Permit Management: Prepare, submit, and eventually close out Permit to Work (PTW) documents in alignment with project timelines and safety guidelines.
* Equipment & PPE Oversight: Conduct rigorous work equipment inspections—including verifying certification competences and validity—while ensuring all workers wear complete and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Gas Testing & Monitoring: Perform accurate $H_2S$ gas measurements before work begins to guarantee a safe working environment.
* Safety Briefings & Leadership: Lead Pre-Job Safety Meetings (PJS), supervise active work execution to ensure strict HSE compliance, and deliver targeted HSE training and awareness programs for field personnel.
* Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain meticulous HSE activity records in the field and prepare comprehensive HSE performance reports for management review.
## Professional Qualifications
To qualify for this demanding HSE position, candidates must meet the following mandatory and preferred criteria:
* Industry Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience working as a Safety Officer within the oil and gas industry, with a strong emphasis on oil well operations.
* Technical Expertise: Proficiency in preparing JSA and HIRADC documents, comprehensive understanding of $H_2S$ gas measurement procedures, and a strong capability to develop and manage Pertamina PTW systems.
* Required Training & Certifications: Must have completed SIKA training and hold a valid, mandatory Oil & Gas HSE Certification.
* Preferred Background: Previous hands-on experience working directly on Pertamina Geothermal Energy projects will be considered a significant advantage.
