## Job Role: Laboratory Analyst
As a Laboratory Analyst at PT Kawasan Industri Medan, you will play a critical frontline role in ensuring environmental compliance, water quality management, and rigorous quality assurance across the industrial complex.
Key Responsibilities
* Sample Collection: Safely collect wastewater samples directly from the wastewater treatment plant managed by PT KIM.
* Wastewater Analysis: Conduct thorough laboratory testing on wastewater samples originating from PT KIM’s treatment facility as well as industrial partners, followed by comprehensive reporting.
* Clean Water Monitoring: Analyze clean water supplied by third-party units partnered with PT KIM, alongside monitoring inlet points of industrial tenants utilizing the clean water infrastructure.
* Chemical Inventory & Calibration: Administer the intake and utilization of laboratory chemicals while tracking and generating calibration reports.
* Equipment Maintenance: Maintain laboratory apparatus, perform internal calibrations, and document calibration outcomes meticulously.
* Regulatory Compliance Reporting: Prepare formal reports to be submitted to relevant authorized government agencies regarding environmental and water metrics.
* Administrative Reporting: Compile routine daily and monthly operational reports, alongside executing additional directives assigned by the Department Head and Division Head.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify for this esteemed position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
* Academic Performance: Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.80 out of a 4.00 scale.
* Professional Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on working experience as a Laboratory Analyst is preferred.
