Junior Geologist
Are you a budding geological expert eager to apply your skills in a challenging yet rewarding environment? We are looking for a Junior Geologist to support our exploration efforts.
# Key Responsibilities
* Execute comprehensive exploration phases, including geological mapping, drilling supervision, geophysical logging, coal sampling, and meticulous reporting in adherence to project plans.
* Accurately describe rock cores obtained from drilling operations and meticulously prepare detailed drill logs.
* Interpret data derived from geophysical logging to identify subsurface geological features.
* Maintain and update the drilling database, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
* Collaborate effectively with the exploration team, ensuring all activities comply with established standards and procedures.
# Essential Qualifications
* A Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering is required.
* A minimum of two years of professional experience in a related geological field.
* Demonstrated proficiency in coal geological mapping, drilling operations, coal sample handling, drilling database management, geophysical logging interpretation, and bore core correlation.
* Willingness to be stationed at our site in Musi Rawas Utara, South Sumatra.
Exploration Geologist
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Exploration Geologist to lead and optimize our exploration initiatives.
# Key Responsibilities
* Plan, execute, and meticulously supervise all stages of exploration, encompassing geological mapping, drilling, logging, geophysical surveys, sampling, and comprehensive reporting.
* Conduct in-depth interpretation and correlation of coal seams to ascertain their continuity and characteristics.
* Develop robust geological models to visualize and analyze subsurface structures and resource distribution.
* Manage and rigorously validate geological databases, ensuring accuracy and reliability of information.
* Coordinate seamlessly with internal exploration teams, support departments, and external third-party contractors.
* Ensure that all exploration activities strictly adhere to established standards, internal procedures, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
# Essential Qualifications
* A Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering is required.
* A minimum of five years of professional experience in a related geological field.
* Demonstrated expertise in coal geological mapping, drilling program management, exploration reporting, geological modeling, and coal resource estimation techniques.
* Possession of a Junior (POP) or Middle (POM) Mining Supervisor Competency Certificate is mandatory.
* Willingness to be stationed at our site in Musi Rawas Utara, South Sumatra.
